This 0.5m WorldView-2 satellite image depicts efforts to contain and clean up an oil slick in the Gulf of Mexico. The oil slick, which was caused by an explosion on board the offshore drilling rig Deepwater Horizon, is estimated to cover a surface area of at least 2,500 square miles.
